CEILING

CEILING COLLAPSED AND CLAIM WAS REJECTED, BECAUSE NAIL SPACING EXCEEDS 150MM. WE BOUGHT THE HOUSE AND IT WAS INSPECTED. WE HAD NO IDEA THAT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MEASURED AND MY QUESTION IS HOW. OUR CEILING IS HIGH. WE ARE UNABLE TO REACH IT. I WANT TO KNOW WAS IT EXPECTED FROM US TO MEASURE THE NAILS BEFORE WE GET HOME INSURANCE? TO ENSURE THAT A CLAIM WILL BE APPROVED? WHY DO WE PAY FOR HOME INSURANCE IF WHEN WE NEED ASSISTANCE, IT GET REJECTED?
