Beware when joining Momentum Short-Term Insurance

Be wary of Momentum Short Insurance - some advice do not insure your vehicle with them. Momentum increases your excess on the sly along with your premiums annually. Its outrageous that the value of your vehicle can decrease and still your excess is increased along with your premiums. Its so unheard of that excess is increased. When I asked them to show me where in the policy document does it make mention of excess being increased annually I couldn't get a straight answer. The response I've been given is that they have been in the business for many years and its normal. When insisting on them pointing it out I get consultants referring me to sections that does not validate their response. I would highly discourage anyone to insure their vehicle with Momentum as they clearly do not value their customers. Furthermore, the staff are absolutely rude - especially a consultant by the name of Busisiwe in the claims department.
