Bad Service by Momentum Insurance Jan 2024

Just a heads up on Momentum insure....Momentum took over Alexander Forbes Insurance. Since the take over I was made aware of the change, and I was assured that nothing changed...... How wrong can one be.

Easy to deduct the monthly premium but to pay when damage to property is experienced. Never was I told how to calculate the value to be insured op the building. We had severe storms in Mpumalanga with hail damage as well as fence damage.

The property bought for R1.3 Mil, Insured for R2.1Mil yet according to assessor calculations I must be insured for R3.5 mil. Not much damage but the can now only pay out a certain percentage due to the building been 40% under insured? Be careful as Momentum do not do as the promise?
