Bad pathetic service from Vuyokazi emergency service call center

This morning after 06h00 I called Momentum’s emergency services as my tyre was flat. A gentleman called Bernard who is a service provider was assigned to my place of residence. Bernard was very respectful and helpful however he later noticed that my biscuit tyre was also flat. He offered to drive to the nearest garage which is three kilometers from my house as his pump did not assist. To my surprise he returned furious within a couple of minutes as he informed me that he was instructed to dump me and go assist five other customers. Called the call center again and was assisted by not a helpful lady called Vuyokazi who explained to me that momentum is not in a business of assisting customers with flat spare tyres. Mind you my battery is flat as we were load shedded since 04h00. Unfortunately whilst talking to Vuyokazi I was extremely frustrated with load shedding as there was no network. Her assumption was that I dropped my phone on her which is a blatant lie. Bernard put back the biscuit tyre which was flat and left. I had a presence of mind and called Mr Vongani Baloyi and he fought tooth and nail for me to be assisted again. Vuyokazi saw no reason to apologize and I was honestly not surprised nor shocked because she told me from the onset that they are not in a business of assisting with flat tyres. This was a shock for me as Bernard offered to drive three kilometers to and from the garage. What hurts me most are my premiums that I have paid to Momentum and when I’m in desperate need only to be informed that let Bernard leave you and we will call a tow truck for you. I’m tired of being emotionally abused by people like Vuyokazi who do not care for their customers same people that pay her salary. Imagine if I was stranded somewhere at night alone and you’re informed in your face that we will call someone to come tow you. Tow truck driver arrived at 10h00 which was not his fault for an emergency telephone call that was made after 06h00. How much would this this cost Momentum for me to suddenly suffer like this??? Bernard could have taken less than fifteen minutes to and from Sasol garage but Vuyokazi chose not think on her feet including the safety of a customer. Paying close to R5K every month without fail and one has a flat tyre including a biscuit tyre gets treated like a second class citizen as it was clear that whoever instructed Bernard to leave my house prioritized other customers and left me alone struggling. I have no idea what and where I would have ended up if it was not for the assistance of Vongani Baloyi. This gentleman is in sales and he was the reason I joined Momentum since 2018. I have referred friends and family members to Vongani and they are all very happy with his service. I’m self employed and I bill per day/hour. Vuyokazi I’m not sure how she gets paid but I can safely assume that she’s paid a salary. Today I lost an income because of your instructions Vuyokazi to Bernard and I guess same matters not to you because you have a secured income. Mr Baloyi requested Vuyokazi to apologize and to my surprise she was not bothered and saw no need to apologize. Momentum you have been absolutely fantastic however I have no choice but to leave you alone. I’m not a beggar at Momentum. I pay a monthly premium without fail and I’m left wondering as to why, how, what happened to me. I deserve better because I’m paying for this and it’s not free. What hurts me most is that today worked against me as two service providers were assigned to assist me. Then same means I have one or two more chances this year then I’m done. Let me find another home before I again regret being assisted by Vuyokazi. She called me twice or thrice afterwards and honestly it was just too stressful and late. I’m sorry I can’t work nor be associated with people who see no wrong in their actions. Any other reputable insurance company is welcome to call me 🤞🏿💔🙌🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿💔💔💔💔.
