Alexander Forbes - insure you are never in need of support.

this is the most useless, *********** company I have come across. they are willing to jeopardize a persons credit rating to save their own backsides. instead of cancelling my insurance as requested they decide to send me a cancellation letter from their side due to non payment. of course there is no payment, the policy was CANCELLED. now our credit record is *****ed due to pathetic administration on their part, they are NOT willing to assist in this matter AT ALL. at this point.

I am still awaiting feedback from managers that have been in meetings all day and also from each staff member that I have spoken to, I have resent the same mail twice and spent more than an hour trying to get a hold of anyone that can assist me, but to no avail. apparently poor service is part of their company standard. avoid at all costs if you ever want an issue dealt with. if you are happy to continuously pay your premiums without any support then good company to be with. however, if you expect support from your insurance company and service for the premium that you pay, alexander forbes is not for you.

I am extremely disappointed at the level of service and client relationships especially since they are such a long standing company and have very high premiums.
