AFI twists and distorts policy wording to reduce their liability

Alexander Forbes Insurance Scratch and Dent policy wording provides that the insured has 30 days to submit a claim. Today I attempted to lodge 2 separate claims for 2 separate incidents that occurred within the past 30 days. I was advised that these 2 claims will be treated as 1 claim and the max claim for both separate incidents will be limited to R3,000 (being the limit per claim). So in other words despite what their policy wording says about having 30 days to claim this apparently, at AFI's own discretion, does not apply if you have multiple claims within the same 30 day period. Then all such claims (from completely separate incidents) will be treated as 1 claim and the insured is the biggest loser!!! Buyers beware of a classical twist of the of policy wording in favour of the Big Corporate Insurer to reduce their liability.
