3 weeks without a vehicle and nobody can finalize a claim
Can someone from momentum please finalize my claim and pay me out it's been more than 7 days since I was told that my vehicle will be written off, calling in every single day and nobody can tell me when I'll be paid out, I sent an email to a manager of the complaints team and still no response how pathetic is that.
This vehicle was taken in for repairs last year November after getting the vehicle back in December I continually complained about the vehicle's drivetrain warning system coming on and restricting power, I was advised by Momentum to take it back to the service provider the first time I complained, got the vehicle back and it continued doing this over and over again, every time I called in to complain they advised that I should just take the vehicle back, I even addressed my concerns that the service provider was some 60kms away from me far from convenient even though the same panel shop had a service center some 10kms away but I obliged Momentums request to have the service provider fix the issues. Eventually in late December, the service provider had an attitude since I complained to much and was hesitant to take the vehicle back as they couldn't find any issue on the vehicle that I was complaining about it was then advised the vehicle should go to the manufacturers service center and have it checked there, it was not until the 31 December 2021 that Momentum assisted with moving the vehicle to have it checked upon the vehicle arriving at the dealer service garage they assessed the vehicle and found the issues on this vehicle, being that it had a low oil level and the water pipes were damaged hence the drivetrain warning coming on and then going off and the stop/start system not working. the service garage repaired this and the warnings then disappeared but they found that the VVTi (Variable Value Train) on the vehicle was leaking oil and this only occurs when there was insufficient oil level in the vehicle to keep the Vanos system from running dry of which the vehicle only had 2 liters of oil in, Momentum then proceeded to say this was not incident related and they will not cover the damage even though their service provider worked on the front of the vehicle and it was towed away from the accident scene, eventually after proving my case they elected to write off the vehicle on the 10th of January as fixing the service providers negligent mistake by not checking the fluids and refusing to service the client's concerns fully on the vehicle damaged the engine.
In closing all this could've been preventable if the service provider that Momentum elected to repair my vehicle took my concerns seriously and Momentum themselves actually stepped in and forced their service provider to assist the client and go above and beyond, nobody cared what happened and now the client is being inconvenienced, please would you be so kind and explained how this happened that the client that pays for this service is being left in the dark with no vehicle to drive due to the negligence of others, can you also assist me in finalizing this claim so that I can move on from the bad experience as none of the above explained was in any way shape or form my fault stop wasting my time whatever internal issues there is should be sorted out internally not filtered onto through to the client
