Momentum Health - International Health Insurance - WORTHLESS Ever thought you would be covered for any medical emergency when you travel, with International Health Insurance? Not with MOMENTUM INTERNATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE - EVEN AFTER AUTHORISATION WAS GRANTED..... My wife recently went to ABU DHABI and needed EMERGENCY medical treatment. We phoned the international health insurance number and was given authorisation to go to the local hospital. Of course you have to pay the hospital immediately, and then claim the refund when you get back to South Africa......or so they say. GOOD LUCK trying to get a refund from MOMENTUM. After 6 months of CONSTANT follow up, MOMENTUM are still refusing to pay the refund. My advise is to AVOID MOMENTUM INTERNATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE and hope your local claims are not treated the same way. BAD FORM MOMENTUM HEALTH - DON'T SAY YOU WILL COVER SOMEONE WHEN YOU WON'T
