Worst medical aid ever. Stay clear of Momentum drama.

This is the worst medical aid ever. Im actually loosely using the word medical aid coz this seems like a **** to me. It started when my wife was pregnant and we were 1st sent from pillar to post inorder to find the gynecologist on their network- because most of them know that Momentum dont settle their claims so they stay clear of their clients. By the time one doc accepted us she was already 5 mnths down the line. Momemtum doesnt cover your consultation fee and scans so had to be prepared to fork out abt R1 600 each time u have such an appointmnet which was momthly. Because that doc was not getting paid on other momentum clients, he also rejected us wen she was 8 mnths pregnant. We had to switch to another medical doc and One midwife accepted to help us. Thank God the delivery went well, but the problem still is that, Momentum doesnt want to pay the doctor who emphathised with us and assisted us at the last minute despite having all the authorisations and everything that is needed before hand. All we get is being sent from pillar to post and we are being pressured by the hospital to personally settle the account of which we dont have such kind of money. Im appealing if there is also anyone who is interested in teaming up to escalate this kind of conduct to please get in touch, because i feel as if Momentum is duping people by not owning up to their promises yet they collect premiums in full.
