WORST MEDICAL AID EVER!!! LIES!! LIES!! LIES!!
<p>I was on discovery and decided to join momentum because I heard good things however in feb I needed to be admitted and my medical aid requested a whole lot of documents that they should have done initially when you sign up. I was told that i had no waiting period when I signed up now i had to submit doctors reports upon doctors reports only to discover more than 1 month later (still waiting to be admitted) that they terminated my membership for not disclosing information. The weird thing is I disclosed all my info yet they still found a loop whole in my apparent non disclosure! I will not recommend them to anyone. Their service is terrible. when you sign up they do not ask for any clinical Info but as soon as you have a claim then they require a whole lot of documents. Rather pay the extra and stay on Discovery. You get Quality service. </p>

i do not wish to have momentum as my medical aid after all of the hassle that i have been put through this past month. please advise your potential clients before signing them on that they need to submit documents. not after they sign up and need to be admited then request information. this is clearly not professional and this could have been a serious situation were my life could have been at stake. theres no point in saying i have no waiting period but then make me wait for authorization! totally ridiculous and hope that potential clients are aware of what they are getting themselves into.
