Waste of time when it comes to paying out

Hi

So my wife fell pregnant recenetly.

Firstly i had to call momentum more then three times, everytime I call an agent asks me to go to the doctor and change something instead of just telling me once off what must be changed on the invoice. But that's not my main concern

Our medical aid pays out for 4 visits under maternity, 2 scans but one before 24 weeks & one after. Our first visit as 8.5 weeks is being paid out once the doc changes the code for the scan

At 10 weeks my wife had a miscarriage, so we had to obviously go for consultation and a scan as gynae needed to check if a D&C was required. I asked the agent if this could be processed some how as a miscarriage as the scan was done before 24 weeks and they said no way and we should have went to network GP, and we knew it was a miscarriage.

Can someone senior look at this and advise if this is correct as I dont see how any medical aid would expect a GP visit after getting a miscarriage and surely there must be some sort of cover in the event of a miscarriage.

Please can I get a detailed accurate response as this will influence my decision on whether to stay with momentum or to move
