very dissapointed

<p>Hi All, I have a huge problem. Last year my husband that I was in the process of divorcing took out a new Medical Aid with Momentum Health. I was not aware of it as me and him havent spoken in over a year and i that time I started developing back problems, so when he was asked by the Medical Aid if there is any conditions on me he said no, cause I never told him about the back problem as we were not talking at all and he never called to tell me he is taking new medical. He was told by lawyer that I have to be on his medical so he just tried to make sure I am on his new medical aid. I only later found out when the lawyer informed me. So after a while my back started giving more and more problems so the point where I could at times not feel my legs. I though that I will get to the doc and doc said operation needed, so I informed the medical aid seeing that they sent a letter that said no waiting period and no exclusions (please note that by this time I was still not contacted by a anyone from the medical aid to confirm if I might have any current conditions) so I thought I can put in a claim for the operation. After that they started asking why was it not disclosed and I said that my husband soon to be x did not know about it that is why, so they told me to ask him ( my husband) to please send an email to explain why he did not disclose it and that it was a misunderstanding then they will concider it. So he did send them the mail and also they asked me to start getting al paper work from all doctors ready ( this gave me hope that they will cover the operation) then for more than a month I waited for feedback from them sending mails daily and being ignored om several times, they gave me a call and said sorry you are now terminated from the medical aid. I was so upset cause we told them it was a misunderstanding and they said ok both parties ( me and my husband ) must put on mail that it was a misunderstanding due to divorce. </p> <p>I in the mean time have worsen in condition to where I am fully bed written due to weak legs and dont know what to do. They gave us hope by asking for the emails and asking for all paperwork from the doctors. We did everything as they asked and then they came with the termination of me only. </p> <p>Please I need some assistance, I am suffering daily from pain more and more it has affected my life to the point where I cant do anything anymore due to my legs losing feeling and my hips and back in constant inflammation of the nerves. The Neurosurgeon says I need urgent operation. I am so tired and feel so emosionally depressed due to what they put us through..gave hope to me and then just dump me after we admitted it was a misunderstanding.</p> <p>Please please please help! </p> <p>Thank you</p>
