There are better ways to get shafted

On Friday I woke up and decided it would be fun to need all 4 wisdom teeth removed. Just for a bit of excitement, I threw in a bacterial infections because the risk of dying from septicemia is exhilarating. After receiving a clinical assessment form, I sacrificed the goat and sent through the blood of a virgin as requested. I then get informed that the hospital stay and the anesthesiologist are covered, but not the dentist. Upon asking if I would be expected to perform the surgery myself, I was informed that the rest needed to come out of my savings. The 10% of my premium which amounts to R264 a month must cover the R4000 difference. (Insert expletive). Let's all bear in mind that a general GP consult now costs approx. R450, I hope I don't get sick in let's say, the next four years (while I pay my R2700 premium for medical aid every month in the event that I should get sick - ironic?) I feel sorry for the underwriters... They must pay school fees just for the classroom and textbook... The teacher must have to be outsourced from their savings (one can only assume as this is what they expect from the people paying for a medical insurance - must be how things work in their world's). Needless to say, I will be moving myself as well as my entire company's R1.2 million contribution per month to another medical insurer. I do not need or want a generic response about how my query will be investigated and someone will get back to me. I've read enough of those from the other countless unhappy victims of Momentum. I am merely here to warn anyone pointing their nose in momentum's general direction to rather get a broom stick and stick it up their own (guess where) then to allow momentum to do it for them.
