Termination of medical aid

<p>I am highly disgusted with momentum health. I was just phoned and told that they would be cancelling my medical aid subscription due to non disclosure. I went to the doctor on 21/11/2016 with extreme pain in my lower back and numbness in my left leg. Because I only joined in August they asked for a 12 month clinical history. Which I sent through. the reason they gave my why they are cancelling my medical aid is because I never disclosed that on the 2/1/2016 I went to the Dr with a tender arm joint. The diagnosis was TM joint inflammation. I have never been treated for that before and then on the 11/5/2016 I went to the Dr again for a migraine and the presenting symptoms were migraine/tender shoulder. But the diagnosis is migraine. So now I am asking what has that got to do with lower back pain and if those were persisting problems surely I would have disclosed them. Nobody asked me if I had joint problems and to my knowledge that was a once off problem. I have not been put on chronic medication for the the once off visit. I have never been refused a medical aid or ever have I been terminated of my medical aid for non disclosure. this is disgusting. you are quick to take a person's money but you are very reluctant in assisting. momentum is the worst medical aid ever. </p>
