Switching from Discovery to Momentum Health is the biggest mistake you will ever make! Dont do it!

I am very disappointed at momentum Health, over the past few years I have been paying premiums and have had difficult using the medical aid. I was involved in an accident in March of 2023 and had to go to the hospital , momentum did not pay anything, i used my health saver and had to pay out of pocket, I continued paying my premiums until i asked to cancel late December last year. I ran into heavy financial mishaps and called through to cancel, that cancellation was not processed. I had an issue with income , I then call momentum this year again to try cancel because my income had dwindled, the first of the debit orders bounced due to this. I called again and spoke to another lady and she assured me she had cancelled. Another debit order bounced. I got 2 emails stating "Please note, the outstanding amount of R6748.00 is owing for the 2 months of medical aid premium and even though the medical aid was not used you are still liable for the monthly premiums as you were still an active member." - I told momentum my income has been affected as I am a contract worker I cannot afford upkeep on this. I have never used the medical aid and this company is burying me deep into financial problems I am trying to escape. Even though i haven't made use of the services but have been paying , but have had issues when trying to use the cover I am being demanded to pay this.
