Summoned due to Medical Aid Negligence

<p>We had an outstanding bill from a dentist in Amanzimtoti,</p> <p><br />Momentum did not pay, we then forwarded the bill to them in which they</p> <p><br />promised to make payment and did not settle this account. The bill was supposed</p> <p><br />to come out of our medical aid savings.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Nobody contacted us after this and we assumed the bill was paid as we did not hear</p> <p><br />from the doctor nor the medical aid.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>I have now been summoned to court for the outrstanding amount aswell as</p> <p><br />there is now legal fees and so forth involved!!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>I believe that momentum is to blame for the non payment, and if they did not make payment why did they not contact us to inform us of why?</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>This service is not exceptable and this is now a big problem for me!! If I</p> <p><br />go and cancell my medical aid now they still will not make the payment, and if</p> <p><br />I stay with them to show loyalty, will they settle this account or even attempt to</p> <p><br />assist me in any way or just ignore me?? The fact still remains that I now have to go</p> <p><br />to court to settle this and more than likely have to pay out of my pocket for their</p> <p><br />negligence!!</p>
