Son turned away for medical attention due to non diclosed information

<p>Yesterday, my son was rushed from campus in an ambulance to Melomed Bellville due to severe chest pains. Dr Bagwandeen, campus doctor suggested that he be admitted due to the ECG results which had him in a tizz. upon arrival the medical centre contacted the Momentum health which then point blank refused to have my son admitted due to the fact he had no medical history. This was never requested when his application form was accepted, no waiting period , no restrictions so at that point for this information to surfice with my son having chest pains which could possibly be a heart attache I am facing an admin issue. I called Momentum health thinking this has to be a miscommunication there is no way that this could be hapening, my caller reference to the contact cente: ********** 56 in my frantic state fof mind, I directed to the pre-auth team who then tells me about a consent form which was emailed to my son and again not disclosing paperwork that needs to be completed by his GP. At this stage I am trying to remain calm with my son in pain, and Iam requested by the medical centre to either have him discharged, whereby I have to take full responsibility for. I then decided to take my son to the GP where bloodworks were done and waiting on the results. Momentum, has turned someone away from seeking medical attention due to their negligence, this is like daggling a carrot infront of a donkey and blatantly lying bout the service they providing. Today, I want answers, I want to know how do I pay a medical aid for my son and he is refered to a State hospital? What would Momentum have done if my son passed yesterday. I can assure you, this will not be left like this Momentum have just played with a life and this is unacceptable I dont care to what extreme I have to go to have my voice heard my next step is the medical aid board and the ombud so you decide how urgent this is for you to attend to. My sons details will be disclosed when you call me for your own good and this is by no means a threat I WANT TO BE CONTACTED TODAY!!!!</p>
