Scrupulous Maternity Benefit! Lies and Bull****!

I am so shocked at how scrupulous Momentum is!

Their maternity program claims that you have 12 gynae visits covered and only 2 scans.

My first 2 scans were paid out according to the above. My 3rd consult wasn’t paid for because the invoice only had a scan description - I gave up the battle, because dealing with Roger Naidoo is like dealing with a broken record full of errors and recalling of emails because of the incorrect information being communicated. My 4th consult, my gynae stated that it is a consult, which it is, and guess what, Momentum does not want to pay it from their maternity benefit! So what’s the point for paying for something that cannot benefit me??? Roger Naidoo also confirmed that consultations would be paid accordingly to the benefit, but only a lousy amount of R400 something because that’s their negotiated rate with their gynae. In today’s day and age, which gynae charges that? This then forces you to have to choose from a very limited gynae list on their network , which took me about 1 month to get a list from Roger. Beware, if you are planning to start a family, change your medical aid before you begin! They have the worse maternity program on earth and full disclosure is not provided!
