Poor medical aid scheme.
I can one hundred percent confirm that momentum health is not a good insurance at all. There customer service is appauling. We signed up with a broker by the name of Kate MC pherson during the lockdown, we where unable to send her documents due to us not being able to go to a print store to have the documents printed. We confirmed everything telephonically. Which she agreed to. I then fell pregnant and now 2 months prior to me giving birth I had to check with the third party gap company that they use and was advised we where never signed up for gap cover, momentum now want me to sign the forms and pay for the service but they will not cover the shortfall for my pregnancy. It is ridiculous that after signing up with them inorder to be covered for such circumstances Iam now not covered due to the lack of their professional services from their insurance broker. The first month we where debited we have had no feedback from Kate until now when I have an issue with the gap cover, we signed up for our policy in may and we still have not received our medical aid cards. The service received is pathetic and impacting my personal life, as I was promised a service that was never received.
