Poor customer service and Benefits

<p>I am registered on maternity program and have therefore received a benefit which is as follow:</p> <p>1. 12 antenatal consultations with gynae</p> <p>2. 2 pregnanct scans</p> <p>3. 12 urine tests included in the antenatal visits</p> <p>4. 2 peaiatrician consultations</p> <p>further on it advises that physiotherapy is not covered.</p> <p>I went for my routine follow up visit and dr ordered urine test, this was done freely as there is benefit from careplan. account received by momentum and is rejected for payment. </p> <p>I called the scheme and spoke to Seloane ,who said the urine test refers to urine dipstick only not laboratory test. This information is not on the benefit I was issued with and am only told now about it. How do I know that indeed laboratory tests are not covered if such additional is omitted on benefit sent to me as a member. </p> <p>I spoke to Prenovan as well who insulted by intellegence and told me that Ishould have called for clarity, there is no confusion here if the benefit says urine test and leave it that unspecified it means they cover both tests. </p> <p>momentum must just pay that account and ensure that they amend the benefit plan and specify everything that is not covered. by the way this is a PMB condition wich must be covered from risk benefit if they cannot settle it from maternity benefit. </p>
