Once again Momentum fails me!!

On 4 March my wife N.Erasmus member *** gave birth at Genesis hospital.<br> Momentum provided me with a list of associated dr.'s before the birth to pick from as Genesis is an associated hospital.Guess what , there's one dr. on the list which actually do births at Genesis.She wasn't available.The other dr. on the list retired almost a year ago , but his still listed.I then went with Dr. D.Naidoo from Linkwood as she do births at Genesis as I had no other option.She did the Cesarean.Her account was R 8500 ,which after doing my research I found was the going rate anything from R 6500 - R 8500.Here's the joke , Momentum contributes R 2924.10 towards that and it was an in hospital procedure.That's ridiculous and ****************.What's the use of having you guys ?I understand the Gynae's rates differ 1500 to 2000 rand give or take , but R 5500.00?You must be kidding me.There's no dr. in the world that would do a c - section for R 2924.10.Not even a guy operating on squirrels in the bush veld does it for that little,you guys want to pay that towards a c -section for a specialist.<br> I will be cancelling my medical aid soon , what's the use of having it!!<br> Regards
