Newborn registration

I recently registered a newborn on my medical aid plan. This was, however, done 33 days after birth, as I struggled to get the birth certificate due to long ques at the home affairs offices because of C19.

I was thus charged for this dependent from the 1st of August. He was born on 18 August and the first month would have been free if I managed to get the certificate in time.

I have contacted your client service department but just get the standard response.
