Momentum’s HelloDoctor Service is Useless

I’ve found the HelloDoctor service to be completely pointless. Every time I’ve used it, the doctors simply tell me to go be examined by a GP. If that were an option for me, I would have just requested an authorisation code and gone in person. The whole reason I’m requesting a call is because I’m sick and not in a position to visit a doctor — which is exactly what this service is supposed to help with.

Instead, I’m met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. The doctors I’ve spoken to have had attitude and come across as quite snarky, which is the last thing anyone needs when they’re already feeling unwell. It’s incredibly disappointing that a service meant to make healthcare more accessible ends up doing nothing more than telling you to “see a real doctor.”
