Momentum *******!

Momentum Health... we pay over R3k a month for our Custom cover and they look for every excuse not to pay out. Went to a dentist in excruciating pain and was immediately scheduled to have my wisdoms removed the next day in theatre. Hospital plan?! Called momentum for authorisation and they then asked for the quotes and xrays. Sent everything through. I followed up every hour and nothing happened. The day of the procedure they said they won't authorise as the procedure was being done by a Peridontist and not a Maxilofacial surgeon and that I needed to schedule an appointment with a maxilofacial surgeon who will then schedule the procedure in theatre and Momentum would only then pay. Pathetic if you ask me! Needless to say, I had to pay for it!! R25000 of my savings!! Im in tears!
