Momentum making major changes to policies without notifying their members.

I have joined Momentum health trough a consultant named Rodney Richards. At the time signed up the Linmed hospital in Benoni was an associated hospital. The Linmed is the closest hospital to my house. Rodney sent me a document proving that it was an associated hospital. I had to go for an emergency surgery in march this year. While I was being prepped in theatre, the financial department of Linmed walked in an notified me that they were no longer an associated hospital. I had to pay 30% co-payments that added up close to R50 000. I have been tying to claim the back the money with no success and just going in circles with their customer care. Rodney has also not made any effort to try and help other that stating that he agrees that Momentum did not act correctly. Please avoid Momentum health at all cost. it will seem cheaper when you join but will cost you a lot of money later on when you need them the most.
