Momentum is a sh*t medicinal aid!

To summarize, Momentum is a sh*t medicinal aid!

So my mother was with another medical aid until this year, around July, when the firm moved them to Momentum medical aid since it was less expensive.

BAD DECISION!

She isn't unwell, therefore she just sees her doctor every two or three months. Unfortunately, she had to visit the doctor shortly after being transferred to Momentum. Only when she returns home does she receive a message informing her that she must pay and then request a refund. That has never happened before. She pays, and they reimburse her.

Annoyance number two: she got a severe nosebleed and had to be taken to the hospital. She did it. When it comes to billing, the hospital claims that their claim was denied by Momentum.

She has been back and forth with them for almost a month! How was she expected to call Momentum for authorization when she had piles of blood on the roll of paper towels, bleeding down her throat, and was getting weaker by the second?

Some people at her workplace have returned to their former medical aids, and we are considering it as well. She chose it because she is not usually ill and will not use it to its full potential. It isn't worth it. A thousand bucks saved is not worth the trouble.
