Momentum Health - Takes but does not give!

We put our son Nicolai in the school for the first time this year, Gr.RR as we lived on farms our entire life and plans finally worked out for him to go to school.

My kids and husband went on medical aid somewhere in January and the notification (Annexure A) he had received was that they will all be on medical aid starting from the 1st of February 2023.

Unfortunately, we received a letter from the school on the 2nd of February 2023 (Annexure B), stating that we should take our son to a paediatrician.

We took our son to a paediatrician, on the 6th of February to get the matter sorted as soon as possible so that our son can attend school without these matters, where the paediatrician stipulated what he acknowledged what is wrong (Annexure C) and referred us to a Neurologist.

We made an appointment with the referred neurologist and had to wait a month for the appointment (Annexure D). On the 8the of March Nicolai was assed by the Neurologist and referred to get some scans done at the hospital FOR A FINAL DIAGNOSIS TO BE MADE. – (Annexure E1 & E2). Now with this we decided to take Nicolai out of school as the teachers could not cope another 3 months until my son was finally diagnosed.

2 days before the scan, Momentum lodged an investigation, staying that we knew about my son having a problem, which we really did not. (Annexure F).

After a huge struggle all the necessary documentation was sent through to Momentum as the Momentum lady was so disrespectful and did not do here job, I had to ask all the necessary practices to fill out the form, which she sent to me to send to the practices.

Final conclusion, Momentum took Nicolai off of the medical aid, saying we knew and we are committing *****, which we did not know and was not committing *****. Momentum now wants us to re-apply for Nicolai stating what disability he has before they can put him back. WE CAN NOT FILL IN THE FORM AS WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE FINAL DIAGNOSES IS AS THE PROCESS WAS STOPPED BY MOMENTUM
