Momentum Health is NOT A TRUSTED BRAND

Good Day, It has come to my attention that the Momentum medical aid has refused to pay for my mother in law’s hospital bills due to a condition that was not disclosed however that condition was an othorpedic related and this current condition is Colo****** medical condition.So therefore both conditions are not medically related. However they refused to pay the hospital bills, even though she was just recently diagnosed and distressed by the results. Initially she was hospitalised for an Influenza however as the doctors conducted tests the results received that she needs to remove a tumour on her colon. Just imagine you just received shocking news about your health and then the medical aid refuses to support you even though you have been loyal and consistent in paying your premiums.

She has disclosed all her chronic related medical conditions. She is suffering with tremendous stress and anxiety about her diagnosis and the fact that she is now personally liable for the surgery costs of about R200 000.

She will need psychological evaluation due to the current stress occurred during this ordeal.
