Momentum Health is hardly worth the effort

Momentum really makes one wonder if it is worth having a medical aid. I think an investment account may have more benefits and would at least pay when they should. We have been with Momentum for years and in all those years, one of us has now ended up in the hospital for the first time. My husband had a health scare that required a procedure and he was admitted to the hospital. One would think that your medical cover would then pay, but no, despite being at an affiliated hospital, we had to pay more for the hospital procedure and the medical cover less. Why? And then we get to the bills for the anaesthetist and surgeon. Once again, we have to pay the majority of every single bill. Why stay with Momentum then? Well, I certainly don't want to anymore. It's an absolute joke. And oh, they can't even be bothered to respond to emails ...
