Momentum Health ignore all prior arrangements

My wife developed a serious back problem. She went to her PHYSICIAN and he send her to an Orthopedic Surgeon. He scheduled a operation date and send me a quotation. I send that to Momentum Health to get permission and to give authorization. They indicate that they will only pay a third.

I was not satisfied with this and had to cancel the operation until I can sort this out with Momentum. Over the next couple of weeks and many emails I received an answer that they will pay the full amount. The reason being that was the only Orthopedic Surgeon in that hospital. To make sure that Momentum do not back track on their approval I send a couple of emails and received five times confirmation that they will pay the full amount.

So, my wife went for the operation, the orthopedic surgeon submit the bill and as I suspect they will do, went back on their word and only pay a part of the bill. I even send the last confirmation email from them with the bill. They ignored their own correspondence and confirmation and went only for the bill, ripped it apart and decide they will only pay a part it. After five confirmations with five Enquiry numbers from three different persons, confirming that they will pay the full amount, they still chose to ignored that and only pay part of the bill. I am extremely dissatisfaction with Momentum Health, and the fact that they ignore all prior arrangements and confirmations.
