Momentum health doesn’t support women’s health

I recently had a disappointing experience with Momentum Health that I feel compelled to share. My membership was terminated with immediate effect because I have irregular periods, which they claimed I failed to disclose, they treated the matter as if I did not disclose that I have a chronic condition which would have been understandable . This decision came despite the fact that irregular periods are a common and unpredictable issue for many women.

When my gynecologist requested specific treatments to reverse the symptoms, Momentum Health refused to authorize the necessary funds, citing my apparent non disclosure as a reason.

It was frustrating to see them treat something as typical as irregular periods as a significant detriment to my coverage. Their handling of my situation felt dismissive and unsupportive, particularly when such medical conditions can vary greatly among individuals.

I urge potential members to consider these aspects before enrolling. Momentum Health's policies are inflexible, and my experience has shown that they may not adequately support women’s health issues. Proceed with caution if you choose to work with them.
