Momentum does not cover you during Covid

About 3 weeks ago my wife was admitted to the hospital for labour and as a pre-requisite of the doctor both of us had to be screened for the world pandemic Covid-19 virus for the safety of everyone involved. Momentum then covered the cost of her covid-test, but not mine even though we were both in hospital and have the doctor's letter saying that without the tests they would not be able to perform the birth. This is absolutely ridiculous that in a time where the world is suffering from this virus one patient can be covered, but not the other despite the fact hat we both have the doctor' letter stating it is ridiculous that they do not want to cover it as it is REQUIRED for hospital admission for us both

I will be changing health insurance asap - This is just not right

Having someone contact me saying that if I had Covid, if I was close to someone who might have Covid or if I was in a high risk area then momentum would pay is simply doesn't make sense. On what grounds can one determine this when everyday each one of us is exposed to high risk people. Numbers are on the rise, we are all supposed to be extra careful as per government instruction. Even more, we live in the Eastern Cape (Which is currently the 3rd most high risk province in the country) how does this not count as being at risk according to their requirements even with the medical doctor clearly writing in her letter that according to her professional opinion the test was a necessity. I understand that they should not have to pay for everything as per ones cover, but their covid policies during a time when numbers are in the increase is the same as using a rubber ruler to decide .
