Miss informed - Momentum does not want to take responsibilty

I am extremely upset with the service I have received from momentum.

I informed momentum on the first of Junie via email that I would like to terminate my medical aid with them. After a few days I received no feedback and was starting to get worried. I then spoke to a gentleman at momentum to confirm if they have received my cancellation, he then searched for it and said yes he did receive it however because I only gave notice on the 1st of June it would not count as a calendar months’ notice and therefore June will not be my 1 month notice but only July will. I responded by saying that how can it not count as a 1 month notice if I informed them on the first and he kept insisting that I had to let them know on the 31ste of May. He then continued to inform me that on the 1st of July my last instalment will go off and that I will still be covered for the month of July. The First of July came and no debit order went off so I assumed it is due to the weekend, on the 4th of July no debit order has gone off yet so I phone momentum to ask them what is the reason for my instalment not going off, the gentleman i then spoke to, informed me that my medical aid has been terminated. Which is obviously incorrect according to my information as I was clearly instructed by the employee that my medical aid will only terminated at the end of July. Now firstly I have a baby of 3 months old, now I have no cover for my 3month old as I would have only joined the new medical aid end of July. When I was informed about my medical aid being cancelled with momentum incorrectly, I immediately phoned the new medical aid to join my husband’s medical aid, but it takes time to join a new medical aid which once again means that for a while I am without cover due to momentum's incompetency and not mine. I phoned momentum to ask them, what happens if i now need to go to a hospital due to an emergency (we all know with babies you can never say never), I was then informed that momentum will not be liable, which I then explained to them I expect them to take responsibility because it is their fault that I am now without cover. I then spoke to the manager and told the manager she should go and listen to the conversation I had with the employee and get back to me with her findings. She then phoned me later and said that it is in fact true that I was provided with false information as June was my 1 month calendar notices, so confirmed and this is also now on recorded that I was in fact correct and that it is momentum's that was giving me the incorrect information but unfortunately there is still nothing that they can do expect to add me again to the medical aid for this month. Firstly I want nothing to do with momentum again, as this is clearly an indication of their quality of service and secondly they expect me to pay a full month's instalment. The manager said she will put in a request and just informed me once again that there is nothing they can do. The refuse to assist me should something happen. I repeat, its due to their (momentum's) incompetency that my baby and I is now without medical cover until my new medical aid is in order. Should something happen in this time that I am not covered, I will take it to court as this is not my fault and has been confirmed as well by momentum that it is not due to my mistake but due to their mistake.
