Ingwe medical aid not really for the lower income as promised

Initially when I was sold the Ingwe plan I was told it was for lower income group , My husband and I are pensioners – we complete a declaration of income every single year reflecting that our only income is a SASSA grant – my husband who is 83 years old can barely walk and talk but every year we make the effort and time to go to the police station to complete a declaration of income , despite our effort and time Momentum still increases our premiums yearly – our SASSA grant is R1980 x 2 which totals to R3960 – My monthly contribution to medical aid is R3780 leaving us with a balance of R180 .Momentum also does not cover my husbands medication in full , every single month I have to make a plan for an extra R1500 (taking from extended family members as this is the only choice I have) for the medication that momentum refuses to cover , all they care about is the plan you on and keep on insisting we take a higher plan when clearly we cannot afford it , We are struggling , we are pensioners , Momentum you have failed us as a health service – you quick to take away our SASSA grant (our only source of income)but you won’t cover us 100% - you don’t have our best interest at heart – you forget we still need to live and eat !!! I am frustrated with your service and don’t care attitude I have called and escalated this matter many times to your consultants but just like you – THEY DON’T CARE .How do you expect me to live with R180 in my pocket and cover the costs you refuse to , please take some time and put yourself in my shoes and feel my helplessness here !!!!!!!
