I wish my elderly mother did not need medical aid

I am responsible for my mother's medical aid. She is elderly - born in 1939 and a government pensioner.<br> I took medical aid with Momentum. Each year I have to submit proof that she is unemployed by submitting forms and bank documents. I do not stay with her and the process gets delayed.<br> As a result I end up paying triple the amount for the first couple of months.<br> <br> I paid R2800 in Jan and Feb until I was able to submit documents. It turns out the Fund department refuses to make the submission effect retrospectively. <br> <br> Understanding that I submitted late, but where can a 77 year old get employed? This makes no sense.<br> All I am asking for is a proper reconciliation of accounts. I cannot afford to pay R3368 just like that in excess of my bills. I cannot afford it. Shuld then my mother be without medical aid just because the company refuses to take a member's concerns into account.<br> <br> Please adjust your books effective Jan 2016, I have been pleading with you to no avail.
