High co-payment for Covid Pneumonia vs the normal one

My partner is an engineer by profession and a Momentum Health member for many years. It's not his professional judgment to second guess medical practitioners , he is a recovering covid positive patient and now hospitalised because of what is called covid pneumonia in his lungs, as usual momentum co-payment is around R1600 now because someone at momentum administration decides to second guess medical practitioners and wants him to co-pay R4900, because according to them pneumonia is flu? This is absurd? Please investigate this, otherwise why are we paying hospital covers for ????
