Health Saver is a waste of money

Momentum health saver is a waste of time and money. I app**** for this account because I thought it would be convenient to have funds available for out of cover expenses. However, only after signing up, did I realise how extremely limited you are in being able to spend your own money. First of all, they do not give you a list of registered vendors where you can use your funds, instead they provide a general list of practitioners and pharmacies with the implication that the vendors are widespread, However, I soon realised that there are in fact very few vendors affiliated with this program and there is no way of knowing unless you ask every one of them. Can you order medicine or supplements from Clicks Pharmacy or Dischem? No you cant. Can you phone the help line and get information on which vendors are active in your area? No you can't. The agents will tell you that they don't have this info. Finally I managed to order medicine and suppliments through Medipost which is affilliated with Momentum and there is a link available on the website. The problem is that they are very limited in what they provide. So having realised how very useless this program is, I decided to cancel it. Now I can't use my remaining health saver funds to buy supplements as they are holding it in case of any claims coming through after cancellation. How does this even make sense? They will hold the fund for six months before releasing it. So I have to wait six months to get my money back from them. What a ****. Not worth it at all.
