health no longer important money making scheme

After been requested for months to join momentum health by their call centres, I foolishly left my medical aid which I was covered for all requirement no restriction or waiting period to join them also without restriction or waiting period or so I thought, one would assume that when it is time to actually use the medical aid for serious medical issues there would not be a problem. But that is not what I have discovered with momentum health. Having recently gone to a ent specialist for a breathing problem which in turn is disrupting my every day life. The ent suggested that I have an opp to try and ease the hassles of living with this condition to which I agreed but medical aid refused this.Momentum refused to except the operation as it has not been a full year that ive been on medical aid even though in my policy document that there was no restriction or waiting period after some debate momentum now asked me at my own cost and time to run around chasing doctors for reports as evidence that I did not have this issue prior to joining them, in all common sense if I did I would have sorted it out with the medical aid I had which I regret leaving now, please be very careful before join
