Granting of Credit - Healthsaver

<p class="MsoNormal">Hi</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Currently I am disappointed with Momentum Health due to credit granting on my savings account.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">I have joined Momentum in January 2016 with the intension of saving on my medical aid costs on a monthly basis, however the granting of credit on my health saver is really frustrating.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">I am currently on Incentive Plan with the 10% towards the saving account. I am making additional payments per month to boost my health saver.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong>The main problem I have with this is the following:</strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal">In January I have chosen an amount of R650/month to boost my health saver and an advanced credit was only granted for 50% (i.e R325) for the year.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Then I decided to reduce the monthly premium of R650 to R325/month on the basis that the credit was already granted for the R325/month. BUT NO, after this they came back and only credit for 50% of R325 (i.e. R162.5) was granted.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">I don’t understand how this works? So let’s say I reduce it again to R162.5/month, will I only now get half of that amount of credit for the year?</p> <p class="MsoNormal">I have app**** last week again for credit for the full amount of R325, but only 50% was given.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">So the way I understand this is that I should increase the amount of R325 to R650/month and then I can get at least 50% of credit (i.e. R325/month).</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">I have a family to support with a child not even 1 year old as of yet. My saving has already been depleted, and I cannot afford to wait each month before there is money available in my savings before seeing a doctor and or getting medication.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">In short – why are you only granting 50% of the amount? It seems that no matter what amount I put extra into saving account, you will only grant 50% credit.
