False hope

I called in because I wanted to take out medical aid for my mother since she is a chronic patient and is unemployed . I filled the forms and sent through all the required documents. Each time I'd get a response stating that there were some docs missing, I'd call in and each time a different agent would request a different doc, eventually I was told they could not assist me because my mom wasn't registered for uif, I than got confused because prior I asked the agent I spoke to and I was told I need to submit an affidavit stating that she's unemployed and never been employed. This went on for weeks saying that they needed more docs only for the last agent I spoke to to tell me that my mom didn't meet the qualifying criteria because of not being registered for uif. I was really disappointed and wish they had told me from the start instead of giving me false hope.
