extremely disappointed and disgruntled member

I have been paying my premium via EFT for the last 2 - 3 years.... Momentum requested my new banking details to be able to pay me my refunds, which i filled out the form they had sent to me and sent back. On the form it asks if this is the bank account that is to be used for debits should there be a need.... i said yes...... not realising this meant that they are now going to start debiting my account for my premiums as it didn't say that on the form that i can recall.....

So end of December i paid my premium by EFT as usual and two days later Momentum debited my account!

So now i am sitting R3198.00 out of pocket!

I call momentum (03rd Jan) and ask them what the hell? basically..... and the lady says i must wait till the 10th to see if they reverse the funds. I told her that i am R3198.00 out of pocket and have bills to pay.... Momentum is so quick to take my money but i must now wait a week just to even see if they reverse the funds....

I mailed all my documents required for the refund on 07th Jan (Ref: ********** 59) By Friday i have still not heard anything so i call and the lady checks on the progress only to tell me that the system had given my 'case' to a person who is on leave and is only back the following wee****!!!! So for a whole week absolutely nothing or no one has seen or done anything about this 'case' while i sit stressing that i cannot pay bills or even put petrol in my car to get to work!

This is absolutely unacceptable of Momentum! Surely when people are on leave their que gets put on hold so that peoples claims don't get left sitting in limbo for such a long period of time?

It is now Monday 14th and i am still yet to hear anything from anyone at Momentum and i am still without this large amount of money in my bank account..... how am i to get to work? How am i to pay school fees? How am i to put food on my families table everyday? It seems Momentum does give two hoots about their members that work hard to pay these premiums to protect our families!

What is Momentum going to do about this?

Who is going to take responsibility for this at Momentum?

Who is going to explain to the creditors i cannot pay that this is not my fault?

Who is going to read my mail and contact me to get this sorted ASAP????

Not the call centre..... Not the service centre.... Not the finance centre....

WHO????

PAY MY MONEY BACK PLEASE?

Regards one extremely disappointed and disgruntled member.....
