Disgusted!

I joined Momentum Health a month ago and was happy with them until I fell ill and was hospitalized for Crohn's disease. To my shock, none of my hospital bills were covered as well as pathology tests. I called them to request for my medication to be made chronic and they advised me that they are still investigating my condition with my specialist as well as my previous medical aid history as where I never had a stomach problem before. I called last week and they advised that it takes 3-4 working days for the medication to be made chronic. I called in again today and they advised the exact same thing. Now I have to go to the pharmacy every second day and pay R170 over the counter for two days' supply of chronic medication because they are taking too long with the process and I cannot be without the medication and I am also sitting with a hospital bill of up to R20 000 which I have to settle myself. What kind of business are you running? Is this Medical Scheme a ****? Because I pay you every month and this is how you treat me. I will not leave it here. I will surely be taking this up with the ombudsman. It is not fair that you provide people with such poor service. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
