Dental Benefits or Dental *******?

I had a filling in a tooth in April 2026. I had had the same tooth filled in July 2025. The claim for the filling was refused, based on the ruling that you can only have one filling per tooth per year. Momentum Health's benefit year is 1 January to 31 December, but the ruling for dental is any 365 day period, apparently, according to the Dental Council. When I asked for the ruling to be sent to me in writing, I was told I could Google it myself! I would love to know the logic behind this from the Dental Council, as one don't break fillings on purpose, in order to use up Medical Savings. Unfortunately, the person at Momentum put the phone down on me, so I am on very unhappy medical aid member.
