Cancelation

Why does one have to go through the 7 circles of hell in order to cancel one's membership? I have told your agents that I'm canceling and going to a new medical aid scheme and need proof that I have canceled with you why is it to so hard to provide me that? I'm losing my mind here, Discovery isn't this finicky they comply immediately I keep getting told about 30 day notice which means nothing cause in terms of the law I can't be on 2 medical aid schemes at once and the new one will only be activated 1st of October in any event so why am I being told useless information
