Bad service from momentum health

Momentum health is the worst ever. My husband was send home with a weeping ulcer on his leg due to an infected spider bite. His has been on antibiotics for the last 4 days and dr advised if no improvement he should come back. We live on a farm 110km from vanderbijlpark and took him in today. Because of no beds at emfuleni medi clinic we tried the other hospitals in the area and surprise surprise were slapped with a co payment of 1800.00! Who can afford to pay a monthly contribution of over R5000.00 and then these ridiculous co payments. I left medihelp to join my works group scheme and i am sorry i ever made that choice. I will advise anyone looking for a medical aid to steer clear from momentum health ,they are the pits! Charmaine Botha
