Appalling service
In February I called the Momentum Call Centre to arrange some medical aid for my mom that had recently gone onto Pension. Everything sounded brilliant and decided to go ahead with the deal: +-R1500 per month. After not hearing from Richard again after a month it turns out that he had been trying to contact my mother. Having my contact details at hand he never once contacted me when unsuccessfully contacting my mother. I then spoke to him telephonically and he mentioned that the documents required a signature but the recorded conversation would suffice. Again, no word from him for over 3 weeks and then Momentum contacted my mother and told her that they were waiting for the signed documents. I then scanned in the documents and sent them off. After yet another 2 weeks someone from Momentum contacted my mother only to tell her that the monthly cost had gone up to R2100, she couldn't claim for 3 months, and they also wouldn't pay for any chronic meds for a year. This is absolutely appalling service and not in any way a good way to treat a pensioner.
