I sent through a request to have dental treatment covered in 2023, October.

I received an authorisation. Was advised I need to pay and then claim for it.

I paid for the treatment. And submitted the claim. The claim was processed in 2023.

I canceled my medical aid in March 2024, I first inquired about cancelation charges, told me a month's notice to be provided which I've done.

I now receive a bill for the treatment I had done in 2023 and for the claim that was processed in 2023.

This is not right, not ethical, and just purely trying to ***** my money.

The authorisation was not even valid for 2024 but yet I must pay again. So there was no point in claiming in the first placed, I was assured the treatment would be covered from 2023 benefits.

Not 2024.

I have responded to the collections team, and Noone phones me back, they just send me an attachment with a recon, which shows 2023 payment. Now why must I pay again in 2024.

Please rectify the records, I am not going to pay this again after was promised this treatment would be covered in 2023.

It is 2024, does not make sense to pay for something in 2023.

I'd like for the records to be amended and for someone to call me.
