Allocating money to wrong accounts leading to claim rejection

<p>This is a new medical aid. I confirmed that it was active on 4 Jan 2017</p> <p>Then I saw no money was debited from my account and queried it. No reply (to date)</p> <p>With a written letter from 4 Jan 2017 confirming my medical aid was active I had both my children's eyes tested for glasses and chose accordingly. My claim was rejected stating my account was suspended. The optometrist said they'd give me an opportunity to sort it, as it is clear there is a mistake.</p> <p>Turns out my account detail was captured wrong, which lead to my medical aid debit not being debited. I paid via EFT with immediate release and called and a friendly gentleman named Llewellyn made an effort to reinstate my account. Then it turns out Momentum allocated the monies wrongly and my savings was not loaded. (Rolling eyes)</p> <p>I am currenlty online and have been on hold for more than 10minutes with a gentleman who chose to rather argue with me than assist me with a simple request. I need my account sorted today so the optometrist can process my claim.</p> <p>Why can some call centre agents sort things but others are too lazy to assist?</p> <p> </p>
