Mojo Hotel Extenuating circumstances no refund

On the 13th of March I made a booking to stay 3 days at Mojo hotel with my family.Its the graduation of my daughter. 2 days ago we found out that the graduation is canceled due to the national disaster situation. Mojo refuse to refund me nor do they want to change the dates to a later stage. They refur to their 30 day policy but I only made the booking last week. This falls under Extenuating circumstances and Airbnb is refunding people for bookings made on or before 14 March 2020. This is very unfair and I am visiting them every year to attend the 7's rugby with my friends
