Municipality Electrical department failure to resolve issue

We have been without power since midnight 15/12/2022 as the wires were cut infront of 112 Human street it have been reported 11 times up to date. We have been to the municipality spoke to the people as the electrical department. They had a year end function 15/12/2022 and that was more important than doing there job. Now they are sourcing for part but if they did there job when the issue was reported instead of having fun and a good time it would've been fixed already. They refuse to give an eta.They won't pay out the damages caused or any losses due to there ignorance.
